Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Fawkes and Reece South are working with a leading main contractor who are seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join one of their busy commercial teams. They are working on a 90m infrastructure scheme on behalf of a local authority. Scope of works on this project has included earthworks, infrastructure works, coastal defences, revetments and drainage etc. As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining a busy commercial team whilst reporting to a Managing Quantity Surveyor on various commercial duties (but not limited to):Accurate monthly forecastingChange control management and producing compensation eventsSending enquiries to subcontractorsCashflow forecastsProducing and processing formal subcontract documentsProducing interim and final accountsRequirements including certificates and qualifications:A degree in a Quantity Surveying subject or equivalentUnderstanding of civil engineering or infrastructure projects would be an advantageHave the right to live and work in the UKThe successful candidate will be rewarded with a generous package plus opportunities to progress further within the business.
