Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Elvet Recruitment are-recruiting a-Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join a leading heavy civil engineering contractor based near Leeds due to ongoing growth from the Yorkshire Water framework.

This -500m-turnover main contractor are a well-known name in their sector with ongoing worldwide growth in 4 countries. They''re a key capital partner for Yorkshire Water-and framework holders for a number of Water clients nationwide for past several AMP frameworks. They have several hundred million -''s worth of work on the horizon - all with a heavy civils focus.-The Yorkshire region is a key area for growth-in the coming years so is crucial to get the right people in the business now for future.

Projects:-water treatment upgrades, storm tanks, shaft sinking, pump stations etc.
Values:-from -1m to -20m+
Contracts: NEC 3 / NEC 4

The company offer a Graduate Quantity Surveyor-the opportunity to grow into total responsibility for projects cradle to grave.-They have a large commercial team, many of whom started employment with them post-grad / post-college and have stayed for years.-

Candidates should possess:

• Ideally some experience at-Graduate Quantity Surveyor level playing a part on Civil Engineering projects
• Ideally some xperience within heavy civils - RC structures, deep drainage, pump stations etc.
• Ideally some xperience and understanding-working with NEC contracts
• Must have relevant degree or Civil Engineering qualification
• Must have experience of Microsoft and office IT packages

Salary up to -38,000 (doe)-plus...
