Are you a recent graduate looking to build a career in commercial management within the construction and civil engineering sector?

We''re working with a well-established specialist contractor who is looking to bring a Graduate Quantity Surveyor into their commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to gain hands-on experience across live projects, working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers while developing their commercial and contractual knowledge.

The role will involve:

• Supporting Quantity Surveyors with the commercial management of projects
• Assisting with valuations, applications and payment processes
• Supporting cost reporting and forecasting
• Assisting with subcontractor management and procurement
• Working with project teams to monitor costs and financial performance
• Supporting variations, compensation events and commercial correspondence
• Developing an understanding of NEC and other forms of contract
• Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams

We''re looking for:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related subject
• Strong interest in pursuing a career within construction/commercial management
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and develop within a project environment
