Graduate or Assistant Quantity Surveyor

My well established construction client specialising in refurbishment and fit-out projects, is actively looking to appoint a Graduate or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Oxford.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their commercial career within a supportive construction environment, gaining hands-on experience across a range of refurbishment projects.The RoleWorking alongside experienced commercial and project management professionals, you will support the financial and commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to completion.Your responsibilities will include:Assisting with the preparation and management of project budgets and cost plansSupporting the procurement and subcontractor tendering processReviewing subcontractor quotations and preparing comparisonsAssisting with valuations, variations and change controlMonitoring project costs and maintaining accurate commercial recordsSupporting the preparation of payment applications and final accountsAssisting with subcontractor and client meetingsWorking closely with site and project teams to understand project progress and commercial performanceDeveloping your knowledge of contracts, procurement and construction cost managementI am looking for a motivated and commercially minded individual who is keen to build a long-term career in quantity surveying.You may be:A Graduate Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your careerAn Assistant Quantity Surveyor ..... full job details .....
