This will be a full time long term Graduate Mentor position with scope to go permanent. Working hours for this Graduate Mentor post will be 8am to 4pm. Responsibilities for this Graduate Mentor role will include but not be limited to: Acting as a mentor for vulnerable students through effective role modelling, forming positive relationships and utilising creative approaches which provide them with the skills to be successful and happyProviding targeted interventions and support to students within the key stage and contribute to the raising standards agendaEncouraging and enabling students to become independent and resilient learners by providing one to one and small group coaching in academic related skills, wellbeing and self-management and emotional literacy The rates of pay for this Graduate Mentor position will be between 99.75 to 116.55 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant. The School An ''Outstanding'' Secondary School and Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton. It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff. 90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.
