Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Keen to become a technical expert on heat pumps?-
New role, based near Reading, with some home working offered post training.
Salary approx -30-35k, possibly more with any relevant-career experience.

THE ROLE
* You''ll be mentored and taught by an experienced heat pump engineer, to become a trusted technical support engineer.
* You''ll be responding to customers who have questions and queries around heat pumps to include commissioning support, fault diagnostics, repairs and breakdowns relating to flow rates, temperature, controls or wiring.-
* You''ll have usage of real life units rigged up in the office to assist with providing the right support and technical information, access to user manuals and all available software to run your own diagnostic testing.
* Some site visits and calls required to assist customers on-site for complex breakdowns once fully trained, on a mix of residential and commercial projects.

THE PERSON
* A qualified mechanical engineering graduate, with a degree in a related subject and looking to move into a technical role in renewables and heat pumps.-
* Excellent communication skills as you''ll be spending large parts of your day on the phone or on video calls with customers. A clear and confident phone manner and approach is vital, plus liaising via email with concise technical information.-
* Full driving licence is preferred, due to travel to sites as required.

THE PACKAGE
A basic salary of approx c-30-35k pending on career experience.
A car or allowance could be offered in the future if travel is a regular feature of the job.-
Full benefits package to include 25 days holiday.

THE LOCATION
Based in the office near to Reading.
Once trained, some home working will be offered.
