Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services) £28k - £30k Dept on Experience Ashford, Surrey MEP Mechanical Design Engineer / Building Services / Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer / Junior Mechanical Design Engineer This role is to join the building services design team within a highly regarded building services design consultancy. They have a great ethos and high professional standards making them the perfect place for your formative years as a mechanical design engineer. They are responsible for the design of all the mechanical and electrical functions within buildings such as HVAC, lifts, lighting, hot and cold water systems, plant rooms, access control, fire alarm systems and data coms. These functions can be applied to almost every type of building so you could be working on projects in any of the following sectors Commercial, Retail, Leisure, Industrial and hotels. Responsibilities Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer Assisting senior engineers with the preparation of outline design schemes Visiting site during the construction phase to monitor progress Ensuring services conform to the latest building regulations and technical standards Production drawings under the direction of Engineers Assisting with the checking of documents and carry out detailed calculations Undertaking duties as indicated by Team Manager to obtain further experience and training in Mechanical Engineering Qualifications MEng / BEng in Mechanical Engineering Proficient with ..... full job details .....
