Our client, a leading provider of data centre design and build services, is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding Mechanical Design team.This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data centre and comms room design, developing the skills to grow into a fully qualified Mechanical Design Engineer. The Role Working under the guidance of the Head of Critical Infrastructure Projects, you will receive mentoring and development opportunities, contributing to mechanical design projects across a wide range of client sites. Key responsibilities include: Producing mechanical designs for data centre systems, including chilled water, high-efficiency cooling, and ventilation systemsPreparing mechanical schematics for both sales and build documentationAssisting in producing specifications for critical mechanical installationsIssuing specifications to contractors and reviewing quotationsConducting site surveys as requiredDeveloping detailed drawings, technical submissions, calculations, and operational descriptions to the construction standardLiaising with subcontractors and procurement to ensure drawings and specifications are complete for project ..... full job details .....
