The role reports directly into a Senior Production Engineer and is exciting as you will gain exposure to a number of areas including quality, operations and new product introduction. Responsibilities: Assist with manufacturing Processes and ensure they are optimised in terms of productivity and efficiency and that all critical to quality aspects are identified and controlled. Assist in the identification of upgrades and modifications required to increase productivity and improve quality. Implement modifications/upgrades as required. Assist with Six Sigma projects and implement robust solutions to manufacturing problems. Run trials in conjunction with the PDI program. Batch Testing. Support the Production engineer implement manufacturing processes that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
