Graduate / Junior Electrical Design Engineer

Our Client is an established building services consultancy based in the East Riding of Yorkshire, providing professional mechanical and electrical engineering (MEP) design services across a range of commercial, industrial, residential and public-sector projects. With the successful outcome of several tendered significant projects, the company is looking to add a talented Junior / Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an engineer at the early stages of their career who is looking to develop their technical skills and gain practical experience within a building services environment The successful candidate will work alongside experienced Engineers and have the opportunity to become involved in projects from initial concept and design through to construction and completion. As a Junior / Graduate Electrical Design Engineer, you will support the electrical engineering team in the design and delivery of building services projects. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the design of electrical building services systems. Producing electrical design calculations and technical documentation. Assisting with the preparation of electrical drawings, schematics and layouts. Developing knowledge of lighting, small power, containment and distribution systems.
