Are you a Graduate Building Surveyor, an Intermediate Surveyor looking for your next step, or a Newly Chartered Surveyor seeking greater responsibility?
We are a growing consultancy based in Wimbledon, delivering a diverse range of building surveying and project management services across London and the Home Counties. Working predominantly with academy trusts, local authorities, residential landlords and other public sector organisations, you''ll gain exposure to a wide variety of rewarding projects while receiving ongoing support and professional development.
Projects are located across London and the surrounding counties, including Essex, Bromley, Brent and many other locations.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle, taking on increasing responsibility as your experience develops.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with project management from inception through to completion
- Preparing design specifications and tender documentation
- Contract administration on refurbishment and maintenance projects
- Supporting Principal Designer duties where appropriate
- Carrying out site inspections and condition surveys
- Liaising with clients, contractors and consultants
- Preparing technical reports and project documentation
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards
About You
We welcome applications from Graduate, Intermediate or Newly Chartered Building Surveyors.
You''ll ideally have:
- Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- Graduate through to a few years'' post-graduate experience
- Newly Chartered (MRICS) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of commercial building surveying practices
- Experience or an interest in design, specification writing and contract administration
- An understanding of Principal Designer responsibilities (desirable)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
