Graduate Intelligent Transport Systems Engineer (London, Leeds, Birmingham or Manchester) – join Jacobs on the Graduate Development Programme (GDP). The two-year scheme supports your development with blended learning, mentoring, progress reviews and networking, helping you become knowledgeable and competent across four focus areas: human skills, consulting skills, championing our strategy, and your passions. The GDP is a mix of on-the-job learning and formal development, and offers projects from concept through construction in intelligent transport systems across public and private sector projects in the UK and Ireland. The start date for this role is September 2026.Responsibilities

Assist and support colleagues in the preparation of feasibility studies and scheme reports.Produce detailed designs to support the enhancement and renewal of intelligent transport systems on projects across the UK and Ireland.Work on a varied mix of highways technology projects from concept through to construction.Learn on the job with guidance from your manager and mentor to collect meaningful learning experiences.Contribute to delivering outcomes and solutions for complex transport challenges by collaborating with project teams.Requirements

Be working towards a Degree or Masters level qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.A flexible self-starter who is keen to drive your career forward.Adaptable to change, with a thirst for learning new things.You must have the permanent right to work in the UK.Selection Process
