Graduate Insurance Account Handler

JRRL are currently supporting a client in Bromley recruit a recent graduate who is eager to build a long-term career in the insurance sector.The Graduate Account Handler will work with the Commercial department to provide broking and technical support.Full training provided - a fantastic first step into the industry.Duties for the Graduate Account Handler: Negotiate terms on behalf of customers with underwriters.Handle process and assist with commercial claims.Comply at all times with the requirements of the firm''s own procedures, the Financial Services Act 2012 and FCA Regulations.Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.Handle policy renewals, adjustments and new business quotations. Person Specification for the Graduate Account Handler: Ability to maintain professional competence at all times.Excellent written and communication skills.Ability to make professional presentations for existing and potential customers.Excellent keyboard skills including Microsoft Suite, email and internet.Rounded knowledge of the insurance industry.Sound understanding of the placement and operation of liability and property insurance.
