Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting ground investigations and a variety of geotechnical site activities
- Recording soil and rock conditions and carrying out in-situ testing
- Assisting in the production of factual and interpretative geotechnical reports
- Contributing to earthworks evaluations and foundation design recommendations
- Organising laboratory testing and analysing site investigation results
- Assisting with remediation projects and ground engineering solutions
- Overseeing site activities while maintaining health & safety standards
- Collaborating with senior engineers and multidisciplinary project teams
- Keeping clear and accurate site records and technical documentation
- Communicating with clients, contractors, and external project stakeholders
What We''re Looking For:
- Degree qualified in Geology, Earth Sciences, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related subject (ideally achieving a 2:1 or above)
- Keen interest in geotechnical engineering and ground investigation works
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including technical reporting
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to develop professionally
- Able to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Flexible and willing to undertake site-based work when required
- Full UK driving licence is advantageous
- Must have the right to work in the UK
