Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer

Our client, a leading consultancy in the cross-sector engineering discipline, is currently seeking a Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is based in Shropshire, and involves supporting the delivery of site investigations and ground characterisation works as part of multidisciplinary geotechnical and geo-environmental projects. This position offers the opportunity to develop and apply ground engineering skills within a professional and collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:Work within the Ground Engineering team under the direction of senior colleaguesConduct research and investigations to develop an understanding of ground conditionsAssist in planning, specification, and management of ground investigations and laboratory testing programmesCollate, analyse, and interpret field and laboratory test data for project design and assessmentCollaborate with colleagues, clients, and other engineering disciplines to develop project-specific solutionsPrepare technical deliverables including Desk Studies, Ground Investigation Specifications, Ground Investigation Reports, and Remediation StrategiesAttend sites and projects to assist with surveys, inspections, and ground investigationsDevelop awareness of the commercial requirements of projects and support successful project deliveryJob Requirements:BSc or MSci degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, or a related disciplineGood level of computer literacy, including ..... full job details .....
