Are you a recent Graduate in Agriculture, Horticulture, Sportsturf, Turfgrass Science or a related subject looking to develop your career within sports surface consultancy?

Do you want structured training, mentoring and hands-on experience across a wide range of sports facility projects?

This company provides specialist consultancy services across a wide range of sports surface and sports facility projects throughout the UK and overseas, working on projects from community and grassroots facilities through to elite and professional sport. Projects can include football pitches, golf courses, horse racing surfaces, tennis courts, cricket facilities and other natural and synthetic sports surfaces.

In this role, you will combine site-based technical work with desk-based analysis and consultancy activities, carrying out sports surface testing, analysing technical data, preparing reports and supporting the design, development and construction of sports facilities.

This role would suit a Graduate with a relevant degree or someone with practical experience in grounds management, greenkeeping or sports turf looking to develop their technical and consultancy skills through training and mentoring.

The Role:

• Site visits, technical assessments and sports surface testing
• Collecting and analysing data and preparing technical reports
• Assisting with site investigations, designs, specifications and construction
• Liaising with clients, contractors and project teams

The Person:

• Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture,Sportsturf, Turfgrass Science or a related subject, or relevant practical/vocational experience
• Looking for an entry level role with full training.
• Interest in Sports Surfaces and facility management
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel
