This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to gain hands-on experience across ground investigation, engineering geology and geotechnical projects, working alongside experienced engineers and geologists.The RoleAs a Graduate Engineering Geologist, you will gain exposure to a varied range of projects across Scotland and the wider UK. Your responsibilities will include:Supporting and supervising ground investigations and site worksSoil and rock logging in accordance with relevant standardsAssisting with geological mapping and site assessmentsUndertaking site inspections and ground condition assessmentsCollecting and interpreting geological and geotechnical dataAssisting with ground investigation planning and specificationPreparing factual and interpretative technical reportsSupporting experienced engineers and geologists with geotechnical assessmentsReviewing historical maps, geological information and existing site dataLiaising with clients, contractors and other project stakeholdersWorking both in the office and on site across a variety of projectsAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have:A BSc or MSc in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical ..... full job details .....
