Graduate Engineering Geologist

Graduate Engineering Geologist, Chelmsford, Essex Permanent Salary 26000 - 30000 Excellent opportunity to join a well established company offering good advancement opportunities coupled with on going training. The role and responsibilities will include trail pitting, site supervision of cable percussive, rotary and window sampling drilling rigs (all in house) logging of soils and rock samples, together with factual reporting. You will also be responsible for short and long term monitoring of slopes, gas and ground water regimes on our infrastructural projects, together with the database management. The position will be based at the Essex depot on a full time basis. In return, they will provide the candidate with Rail, LUL and client specific training and accreditation, 20 days holiday (excluding a two week shut down over Christmas). All bank holidays are paid and after six months service the engineer will be open to join the company pension scheme. They also put engineers through IOSH Safe Supervision Of Geotechnical Sites at 4 day coarse after 12 months successful service.
