      <description>Location: Slough | Salary: &amp;pound;284/day | Type: Contract | Carmichael UK are seeking a  Graduate or Junior Civil Engineer (1–2 years’ experience)  to join a  cycleway infrastructure project in Slough .  This is a great opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career looking to gain hands-on site experience, with  ongoing training and development provided .   Key Details:   	 Location: Slough 	 Duration: 9 months initial (potentially ongoing) 	 Rate: £280/day (Umbrella PAYE) 	 Immediate start preferred    Role Overview:   	 Supporting site engineers with day-to-day engineering duties 	 Assisting with setting out, QA, and site documentation 	 Working alongside senior engineers and site teams 	 Gaining exposure to highways / cycleway and infrastructure works    Requirements:   	 Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering 	 0–2 years’ experience (site placement or post-grad) 	 Keen to learn and develop within civil engineering 	 CSCS card (or willing to obtain)   This is a brilliant opportunity for a  graduate looking to get their foot on site  and progress within a supportive team environment.</description>
