Your typical day will involve:

• Using modelling software to model energy performance and assess compliance with building regulations.
• Assisting with on-site air tightness testing and interpreting results.
• Collaborating with team members to develop sustainability strategies for various building projects.
• Producing detailed reports and visualisations to support project delivery.
• Engaging in structured training and mentorship to enhance your technical skills.

As a Graduate Energy Modeller, you will:

• Conduct energy modelling and building performance analysis.
• Support air tightness testing and compliance-related tasks.
• Assist with Part L assessments and other building regulations compliance.
• Create technical outputs using IES software and SketchUp.
• Develop and visualise building models for design and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and consultants on live projects.
• Contribute to technical reports, calculations, and sustainability strategies.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Architecture, or a related field.
• Some exposure to IES software (academic or placement experience is acceptable).
• Familiarity or interest in SketchUp (frequently used in this role).
• A keen interest in energy modelling, air testing, and building performance.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and professional development.
