Graduate Electronics Engineer

We are looking for a Graduate Electronics Engineer to join a high-impact R&D team based in Maidenhead. You’ll help design emergency communication systems that protect millions globally—especially those with reduced mobility or disabilities.
As a Graduate Electronics Engineer you will:

Design and prototype embedded systems (STM32, ESP32, Raspberry Pi CM, NXP i.MX)

Write embedded C (and optionally Rust), plus test tools in Python or C#

Work on schematics, PCB prototyping and lab-based debugging

Collaborate globally with teams in the UK, Spain and the US

Contribute to real-world trials and feedback-driven improvements

Receive mentoring and support toward Chartered Engineer status
As a Graduate Electronics Engineer you will have:

A Master’s (or strong Bachelor’s) in Electronics, Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering

Hands-on embedded C experience
-
Exposure to prototyping, schematics, and debugging tools

Curiosity, ownership, and a drive to learn through real-world engineering
Essential
- One of:
- A qualifying MEng, OR
- A relevant Bachelor’s with an additional Master’s level qualification in an Electronics related discipline.
- Must have achieved the following grade at undergraduate level, regardless of any postgraduate qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree from UCL, KCL, Manchester, Edinburgh, Southampton: Minimum 1st class degree (1).
- Undergraduate degree from Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial: Minimum 2nd class, upper division (2:1).
- Undergraduate degree from an overseas university of equivalent standing to Imperial, or better: Minimum 3.7 GPA. Examples: UC Berkeley, ETH Zurich, National University of Singapore, EPFL, NTU, KTH Stockholm.
