Overview

As a Graduate Development Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, management, and delivery of property development projects. You will work closely with experienced surveyors and project managers, gaining practical knowledge and developing the skills needed to succeed. This position is ideal for a recent graduate looking to kickstart their career in development surveying.Responsibilities

Assist in feasibility studies and appraisals for potential development projects, including site assessments, market analysis, and financial modelling.Support the acquisition of development sites, including due diligence, negotiating terms, and coordinating with legal teams.Participate in planning and design stages of projects, working with architects, planners, and other consultants to ensure developments meet regulatory requirements and company standards.Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications and manage the planning process through to approval.Graduate Scheme

The programme will take 2 years to complete and has been designed to equip you with the skills you need to excel in your chosen profession and help you achieve professional membership or chartership. We’re looking for people due to graduate in 2026, or who have recently graduated within the past three years, with an RICS-accredited degree in Real Estate, Property Development, or a related field. The role is suitable for you if you:Have a strong interest in property development and want to build a career in the industry.Have a basic understanding of the property development process, including planning, design, construction, and financial analysis.Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess the viability of development projects.Hold a full driver’s licence and be Disability Confident.About Disability Confident
