Graduate Design Engineer

We are searching for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Design Engineer for a successful Mechanical Design and Engineering business based in North Devon.This role is offered on a hybrid working basis and therefore you MUST live within a commutable distance of Barnstaple, Appledore, Bideford, Ilfracombe, Great Torrington or South Molton to be considered for the position.During your probation period you will be required to work in the office at least 3 to 4 days per week hence the need to be based near to the office or within a 30-to-40-minute commute.Our ideal candidate will be a graduate or a second or third jobber looking to take the next step in their design career.In this role you are going to be responsible for designing specialist packaging solutions used by clients who operate in the Aerospace/Defence sectors transporting and storing high value and critical equipment.On a daily basis you will be using CAD software to design bespoke solutions for your customers. Experience in Creo / Creo 3D / PTC Creo is highly desired - we are however completely open to speaking with candidates who have expertise in the use of other 3D CAD software, including, SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD (or similar) as our client is very happy to provide you with cross-training to help transition over to Creo.
