We''re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Control Assistant to join a busy finance team in Eastleigh. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, particularly someone who has studied Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a similar discipline, to gain valuable hands-on experience within a commercial finance environment. You''ll work closely with experienced finance professionals, developing your skills across credit control, cash allocation, account management and customer relationship management, while playing an important role in helping the business maintain healthy cash flow.What You''ll Be DoingCarrying out credit checks on new customers and setting up accounts.Monitoring customer accounts and reviewing credit limits.Chasing outstanding payments by telephone and email.Allocating incoming payments to customer accounts accurately.Investigating and resolving invoice queries and payment disputes.Maintaining accurate customer records and account information.Supporting month-end finance processes and reconciliations.Monitoring aged debt and escalating concerns where necessary.Working closely with sales and finance teams to ensure prompt payment.Producing updates and reports on debtor performance.Identifying opportunities to improve ..... full job details .....
