Graduate Civil Engineer /Structural EngineerSalary: 28,000 per annumLocation: Shoreditch, LondonWe are looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer /Structural Engineer to join a growing structural engineering consultancy based in Shoreditch.This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Civil Engineering graduate looking to begin their career within structural engineering, gaining hands-on design experience while working alongside experienced engineers.The RoleAs a Graduate Civil Engineer /Structural Engineer, you will initially join an experienced engineering team where you will receive training and mentoring while developing your technical knowledge.Your responsibilities will include:Assisting with structural design and calculationsDeveloping structural schemes and solutionsWorking on residential refurbishment and bespoke new-build projectsDesigning structural elements from first principlesCoordinating designs with architects and clientsPreparing designs and technical information for drawingsProducing calculation packagesAttending site visitsDiscussing design changes and ideas with the engineering teamManaging your workload and reporting on project progressAs your experience develops, you will be given greater responsibility for your own projects while continuing to receive support from senior engineers.The PersonWe are looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer /Structural Engineer with:A Civil Engineering degree from the UK or equivalentAn interest in structural engineering and ..... full job details .....
