This is an opportunity to join an established multidisciplinary consultancy, gaining practical experience on railway projects while working alongside experienced engineers and developing your technical capability.The Hull team has a strong rail focus, offering exposure to railway infrastructure design alongside a variety of wider civil and structural engineering projects.The Graduate Civil Engineer role will include:Assisting with civil and structural engineering designs for rail infrastructurePreparing calculations, technical notes, specifications and engineering reportsProducing and reviewing design drawings and technical informationSupporting design coordination and project deliveryAttending site visits, surveys and inspections where requiredWorking with engineers, project managers and other disciplines to meet project requirementsThe Graduate Civil Engineer should have:A degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a closely related disciplineA sound understanding of core engineering principlesAn interest in railway infrastructure and civil engineering designFamiliarity with UK design standards and Eurocodes, or a willingness to develop this knowledgeGood communication, organisation and IT skillsThe ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary teamPrevious experience ..... full job details .....
