We are working with a growing, design-led civil and structural engineering consultancy that delivers high-quality solutions across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Known for its practical, buildable approach and a strong focus on efficiency, sustainability, and technical excellence, our client is looking to bring in a Graduate Civil Engineer to support the delivery of infrastructure and drainage designs across a range of development schemes. Key Responsibilities:
·Assist in producing detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD (Civils 3D experience is a plus).
·Support the design of:
oDrainage systems (foul and surface water)
oHighways and external works
oLevels, earthworks, and site layouts
·Help prepare technical drawings for both planning and construction stages.
·Collaborate with engineers to develop practical and cost-effective design solutions.
·Coordinate with architects, clients, and external consultants to ensure smooth project delivery.
·Ensure designs comply with UK standards, regulations, and local authority requirements.
·Assist with Section 38, 104, and 278 submissions.
·Contribute to the project lifecycle from concept through to construction.
Requirements:
·A recent degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
·Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential); Civils 3D experience is desirable.
·A good understanding of drainage design principles, highways design, and site development.
·Familiarity with UK design standards and approval processes.
·Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines.
·Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
