A well-established firm is seeking a motivated Graduate Carbon and ESG Consultant to join their Bristol team. This is a unique opportunity for a recent graduate with a background in sustainability, environmental science, or a related discipline to take on a dedicated sustainability advisor role for a £60m turnover groundworks and civil engineering contractor.

This newly created role will directly support the Environmental Director in shaping and delivering the company''s carbon reduction and ESG strategy. It''s ideal for someone looking to apply their technical knowledge and passion for sustainability in a hands-on, business-embedded role with real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain the company''s baseline carbon footprint with quarterly and annual reportingDevelop systems for carbon and embodied carbon measurement and reportingUse estimating software to generate embodied carbon estimates for tendersSupport embedding sustainable practices across the organisationEngage with clients and supply chain partners to raise ESG standardsContribute to community and social value initiativesSupport sustainability communications and client ESG engagementCandidate Requirements:

Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related subjectStrong analytical and communication skillsFamiliarity with carbon accounting or LCA tools is a plusConfident using Excel; proactive and self-motivatedGenuine interest in carbon reduction and responsible business practicesBenefits:
