Graduate BuyerLocation: Glasgow / Hybrid - travel to other locations requiredSalary: Up to 28,000Job Type: PermanentSector: Procurement / Supply ChainAre you a recent graduate looking to build a career in Buying and Procurement?We are working with an established organisation to recruit a Graduate Buyer into a structured development role, giving you hands-on exposure to purchasing, supplier management, materials planning, data analysis and continuous improvement.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is analytical, commercially curious and keen to develop a long-term career within Buying and Procurement.What will you be doing?You will gain practical experience across areas including:Supporting day to day purchasing and purchase order managementCommunicating with suppliers and following up on deliveriesMonitoring supplier performance, lead times and open ordersSupporting materials planning, inventory analysis and supply availabilityUsing Excel, ERP/MRP systems and Power BI to analyse dataSupporting cost analysis and identifying opportunities for improvementWorking closely with procurement, production, planning, logistics, finance and commercial teamsSupporting supplier reviews and cross-functional improvement projectsExploring the use of AI and automation to improve procurement processesContributing to a structured improvement project during your first 12 monthsWhat are we looking for?We are open to graduates from a range of relevant degree backgrounds, ..... full job details .....
