Graduate Accountant

Nicholas Howard are delighted to be recruiting for a Graduate Accountant.We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Graduate to support the day-to-day operations of the finance function. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expenses, and payments, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and supporting month-end activities and continuous process improvements within the finance team, with a strong runway for ongoing increased responsibility as the role develops.Responsibilities:Receive, verify, and record invoices to ensure they match purchase orders and receipts, preventing duplicate or unauthorised payments.Schedule and process vendor payments via cheque, ACH, or wire transfer, ensuring timely and accurate payment.Review and approve expense reports in line with audit policy, monitor short-term debts, report on expenses, and manage corporate cards including onboarding, offboarding, and credit limits.Set up and maintain suppliers, complete due diligence, resolve discrepancies, and ensure all tax, contract, and audit documentation is compliant and up to date.Maintain accurate records for financial reporting, tax purposes, and internal audits, and support the Management Accountant with month-end close activities, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations.Support system and process improvements across accounts payable and assist the wider finance team with ad hoc and month-end tasks.Requirements:Finance or Accounting (or ..... full job details .....
