About the Role

This is a full-time Graduate Academic Coach role based in Wednesbury, running from September 2026 to July 2027. The position offers a daily rate of £85 to £105 on a temporary contract. The Role:
As a Graduate Academic Coach, you will support secondary students across a range of curriculum subjects. You will work with pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping them revisit key topics, improve understanding and develop stronger study habits. You will also support classroom learning by encouraging focus, confidence and academic progress.
 
The Candidate:
This role will suit a motivated graduate who can explain ideas clearly and build positive relationships with young people. You should be organised, patient and confident supporting students with different academic abilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone considering teacher training or a long-term career in education.
 
Requirements
- 2:2 degree or above in any subject.
- A genuine interest in secondary education and academic support.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
- A patient, organised and encouraging approach to supporting learners.
- Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
 
The School:
