Grade 3 Manufacturing Operat

Meridian are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Operative, for one of our major clients based in Grimsby, currently working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern 12 hours days and nights.Starting salary of 16.45 per hour includes shift allowance, but opportunity to progress and qualify for higher grades.Immediate start for the right candidateManufacturing Operative- Supplies Job DescriptionCarry out the following activities in order to ensure the safe, efficient and timely manufacture of Calendered Materials, suitable for Hose Manufacture or further Processing dept:Work within the Safe Systems of Work and complete all mandatory safety checks and documentation.Calendering of various fabrics and compounds in accordance with specifications and good practice and ensure all quality standards are met.Co-ordinate the efficient use of materials to minimise waste and identify correct use of all materials.To assist in other Supplies operations as required.
