Graduate OandM Engineer Solar About the Role A growing renewable energy organisation is seeking four Graduate OandM Engineers to join its solar operations and maintenance team in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering graduate to start a career within the renewable energy sector. No previous work experience is required, with full training and development provided from day one. Initially, you will be predominantly office-based, working alongside experienced OandM Engineers before progressively moving into the field. You will work on commercial solar farms across the South of England, developing the technical skills and practical experience required to progress into an OandM Engineer position. Key Responsibilities Support the operation and maintenance of commercial solar PV installations. Work alongside experienced OandM Engineers as part of a structured development programme. Develop practical knowledge of solar PV systems and associated electrical and mechanical equipment. Assist with identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues across solar sites. Progress from an office-based training environment into field-based engineering work. Develop the skills and experience required to take responsibility for OandM activities. Work collaboratively with engineers and wider operational teams. Follow appropriate health, safety, quality, and operational procedures.
