DescriptionYou will be working with our front-line clinical teams to support the delivery of the highest quality primary care service to our patients. You will be based full time at our Kingfisher Surrey Docks surgery in Lewisham.

£20,530 – 23,463 WTE depending on experienceKey ResponsibilitiesGP Receptionists will be responsible for helping to maintain a friendly but effective first-line of patient contact, deal with patient tasks appropriately, follow our systems and protocols and keep the practice presentable and safe.

Day to day responsibilities include answering patient queries on the phone, booking patients with the right clinician, calling patients to book them in for health checks and vaccinations. You’ll need to follow our systems, policies and procedures carefully and ensure that you maintain confidentiality at all times.

Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseThe right candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, be warm, friendly and empathetic but also able to influence and negotiate with patients. You’ll be a fast learner who can follow our processes carefully as well as an enthusiastic and confident team player who will fit in well with our team.
