Governance Officer

St Mungo''s is looking for a Governance Officer to join our Governance team and play an important role in supporting the charity''s governance framework. Working closely with the Head of Risk, Governance and Reporting, you''ll help Trustees and senior leaders fulfil their governance responsibilities, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and promote governance best practice across the organisation. What you''ll be doing: Ensure Board and Committee meetings are properly organised and managed Ensure a range of regulatory activities are completed to a high standard and on time. Provide advice on governance matters to enable trustees and staff to meet their governance responsibilities. Be responsible for coordinating the internal audit programme. Contribute to the development of a robust range of governance policies. In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Farringdon, London.
