About the Role This role is essential to the smooth running of Gorse Hill Studios. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, welcoming and well-organised environment. You will represent the organisation in a professional, personable, and helpful manner, supporting all communications and logistics that underpin the day-to-day functioning of the STEP programme and wider building use. You will be responsible for managing room bookings, carrying out administrative and finance-related tasks, assisting with building maintenance and health and safety, and working alongside the caretaker to maintain hygiene and order across the site. The role is part-time, 22 hours a week. Morning and evening work is required, with morning shifts starting at 8:30am and afternoon shifts finishing at 9pm. Roles and Responsibilities: Provide a professional front-of-house service, responding to enquiries in person, by phone and email. Complete day-to-day administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying and email management. Manage visitor and staff sign-in procedures, including registration of new young people attending sessions. Provide general administrative support using Microsoft Office, databases and office equipment. Support building operations, including maintenance reporting, health and safety compliance, fire marshalling and first aid duties.
