Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Platform Provisioning Engineer Glasgow

A leading Professional Services company is seeking a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Platform Provisioning Engineer on a contract basis to work on a project with a leading financial client. You will be needed onsite on Glasgow 3 times per week. Essential Skills andamp; Experience Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Proven experience designing, implementing and managing platform provisioning solutions within GCP environments. Strong experience provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code). Strong Python Scripting and automation experience. Experience with Git and modern DevOps practices. Experience implementing automated infrastructure deployment and CI/CD pipelines. Experience using GitHub Co-Pilot and Claude Code to optimise DevOps and software development workflows. Strong ability to work within a Shell environment (eg Bash). Demonstrated ability to drive and implement automation initiatives. Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerisation technologies.
