We are recruiting an experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Platform Provisioning Engineer to join a major cloud transformation programme.Your team will be responsible for building and evolving an enterprise cloud platform spanning Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, Azure and on-premise environments.You will help in designing, developing and managing cloud platform provisioning solutions with a primary focus on GCP, while driving infrastructure automation, Kubernetes platform engineering, and AI-assisted DevOps practices.Role: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Platform Provisioning EngineerDay rate: £400 - 450 per day (inside IR35)Pay framework: Umbrella CompanyLocation: Glasgow. HybridDuration: 6 months initially (with potential extension)Contract Start Date: ImmediateKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement and maintain platform provisioning and management solutions primarily within Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with the ability to work across AWS and Azure environments.Design, provision and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Build, deploy and manage Kubernetes and containerised platforms to support resilient cloud-native applications.Develop automation solutions using Python and Terraform to streamline infrastructure provisioning and operational processes.Implement and enhance automated deployment pipelines for cloud infrastructure and platform services.Leverage AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Co-Pilot and Claude Code to improve ..... full job details .....
