Goods Stores Operative

A busy, long-established and growing business in Brackley is looking for an experienced, hands-on Goods Stores Operative to join the team. This is a varied role working across stores, dispatch and the yard, supporting the smooth running of a fast-paced production environment and taking ownership of the day-to-day organisation of goods coming in and out of the business. You''ll be involved in loading and unloading vehicles, preparing goods for dispatch, coordinating courier collections, stock organisation, palletising goods and keeping the stores and yard areas running efficiently and safely. The role would suit someone practical, organised and proactive who enjoys being busy, can prioritise their own workload and takes pride in doing a job properly.What we''re looking for:Previous stores, warehouse, goods-in/out or yard experienceForklift Truck experience (Counterbalance preferred - expired licences considered)Comfortable with manual handling and hands-on workBasic IT confidence and the ability to learn internal systemsReliable with a good work ethicAble to work well within a team and use initiativeGood attention to detail and organisationComfortable prioritising work in a busy environmentExperience using warehouse or stock systems would be helpful, although full training will be given on internal systems and processes The role includes:Loading and unloading deliveries using a forkliftPicking, packing and preparing goods for dispatchBooking and coordinating courier ..... full job details .....
