Goods Out Operative - BarnsleyLocation: Barnsley Pay Rate: 12.71 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 We are currently seeking a Goods Out Operative to join one of our clients who have a busy and growing team in Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and organised individual with experience in dispatch and warehouse operations.Key Responsibilities:Managing the goods out area efficiently and accuratelyPreparing and dispatching orders in line with customer requirementsBooking shipments and inputting data onto courier portalsUsing warehouse management systems (WMS) and general PC systemsOperating counterbalance (CB) forklifts with a focus on safety and accuracyEnsuring all dispatch documentation is completed correctlyMaintaining a clean and organised work areaRequirements:Valid Counterbalance (CB) forklift licenceProven experience using gas-powered forklift trucksStrong experience working within a goods out / dispatch environmentConfident using a PC for data entry and dispatch systemsGood attention to detail and ability to work to deadlinesA proactive and reliable attitudeWhat We Offer:Stable Monday to Friday working hours - no weekendsSupportive team environmentOpportunity to contribute to an efficient, fast-paced operationIf you have the skills and experience required and are looking for your next opportunity, we would love to hear from you.About UsWe are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
