Goods Inwards, Stores and Despatch Operative

About the Opportunity:

We''re proud to be working as the internal recruitment partner for our client - a world-class organisation providing advanced manufacturing solutions for the aerospace sector. Due to continued growth, we''re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Goods Inwards, Stores & Despatch Operative to join the team in Romford.

What you''ll be doing:

• Receiving and accurately storing finished manufactured parts.
• Ensuring all stock is processed correctly on the MRP system.
• Picking and packing customer orders with precision and care.
• Preparing outbound shipments with the correct documentation.
• Coordinating collections with approved couriers.
• Carrying out stock checks and maintaining a tidy, organised stores area.
• Working closely with colleagues and couriers to ensure smooth operations.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen willingness to learn; no previous experience is required as full training can be provided.

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:

• A strong work ethic and a proactive, positive attitude.
• High attention to detail with great organisational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Previous experience in stores, despatch or goods inwards is desirable (but not essential - full training is provided).
• Familiarity with MRP systems would be an advantage.
• Must live within commuting distance of Romford.

• Working hours Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday 8am-1pm.
