Goods Inwards, Stores and Despatch Operative Location: Romford Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Type: Permanent, full-time The Role We are recruiting for a Goods Inwards, Stores and Despatch Operative to join a busy precision engineering and manufacturing environment supplying high-quality components to demanding industries. This is a varied, hands-on role covering goods inwards, stock control, stores picking, packaging and despatch. You will play an important part in maintaining accurate stock records, supporting production schedules and ensuring components and finished goods are handled, documented and despatched correctly. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse or stores experience, excellent attention to detail and an organised, methodical approach. Experience within aerospace, precision engineering or another batch-controlled manufacturing environment would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities Receive and book in raw materials, consumables and externally processed or treated components. Check incoming goods against relevant orders and documentation. Maintain accurate stock records and update the MRP system following transactions. Pick and issue materials and components to support manufacturing requirements. Control the movement of parts and materials throughout the business. Package finished goods to a high standard, ensuring customer-specific requirements are met.
