Goods In/Out Operative

About the roleWorking within our London Heathrow workshop, alongside both the Engineering and Operation Teams, to correctly receipt and dispatch spares and tooling. Day-to-day tasks will include the booking in and out of equipment, tooling and spare parts, collection and delivery of customer equipment around our workshops and customer sites, cleaning of equipment prior to returning to customer, ensuring all paperwork is in place and completed accurately. Typically, collection and delivery will be as far as Cardiff for internal movements and Manchester for customer movements.Key ResponsibilitiesGoods In:Receive and check incoming deliveries against purchase ordersInspect goods for damage and report discrepanciesAccurately record stock on internal systemsSafely store goods in designated warehouse locationsGoods Out:Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatchEnsure orders are accurate and securely packagedLoad vehicles safely and efficientlyComplete dispatch documentationDriving Duties:Deliver and collect goods as requiredEnsure timely and professional customer service during deliveriesConduct daily vehicle checks and report any issuesMaintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthinessEssentials:Hold a full, clean, manual UK driving license Proven experience of good IT skills; this role involves frequent use of technology Good understanding of route planning and time managementExcellent customer service skills Good at communicating with people at all levels - both internally and ..... full job details .....
