Driver Hire Southampton are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Goods In Supervisor to join a successful and growing business based in the Winchester area.Our client is a well-established supplier and distributor of cleaning, hygiene and janitorial products, supplying businesses across a range of sectors. Their extensive product range includes cleaning chemicals, PPE, paper products, gloves, waste sacks, cleaning equipment and other janitorial supplies.The RoleAs Goods In Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient running of the goods-in operation, ensuring deliveries are received, checked, recorded and put away accurately and safely.Key responsibilities include:Supervising the day-to-day Goods In operationReceiving and unloading incoming deliveriesChecking deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notesIdentifying and reporting shortages, damages or incorrect goodsBooking stock onto the warehouse systemOrganising and putting stock away into the correct locationsMaintaining accurate stock recordsSupervising and allocating work to warehouse staffEnsuring the warehouse and Goods In area remain organised and tidyWorking closely with purchasing and other warehouse departmentsEnsuring all health and safety procedures are followedOperating warehouse equipment/forklift where requiredHelping resolve stock and delivery discrepanciesSupporting the wider warehouse operation when requiredAbout YouThe successful candidate will ..... full job details .....
