Senior Salmon are recruiting on behalf of our well-established client, for a Goods Inwards / Stores Operative to join their busy team in Worksop.This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturing and construction business, offering a stable role, regular hours and the potential for a long-term career.The Role:As a Goods Inwards / Stores Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring materials and stock are received, stored and issued efficiently to support production operations.Main duties include:Receiving and checking incoming deliveriesBooking stock into the systemPutting stock away in designated locationsPicking and issuing parts for production requirementsMaintaining accurate stock recordsCarrying out general stores and warehouse dutiesEnsuring high standards of housekeeping and health & safetyThe Ideal CandidateTo be considered for this role, you will have:Previous experience within a Goods Inwards, Stores or Warehouse environmentExperience receiving deliveries, stock control and picking partsBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and ExcelGood organisational skills and attention to detailA proactive and reliable attitudeDesirableFLT Counterbalance Licence (up to 3 tonne)What''s on Offer?-14.28 per hourMonday to Friday working patternEarly finish every day at 2:30pmOpportunity to join a market-leading companyPotential for a permanent position following a successful probation period
