This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, detail-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in accuracy and organisation.The RoleAs a Goods In / Stores Operative, you will play a key role in the effective management of materials across the business. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, locating, and distributing materials accurately, while ensuring all inventory and data processes are completed to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive goods daily and accurately book them into inventory using the IFS systemLocate, store, and distribute materials efficiently to support production requirementsPick materials in line with shop order Bills of Materials and deliver them to production cellsProduce and engrave labels for shop orders to support smooth production flowCreate and maintain Kanban systems to support Supply Chain and Production, including daily visual controlsBuild spares kits in line with standard operating procedures and replenish lineside stock as requiredSupport the daily cycle counting programme to maintain inventory accuracyComply with all Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards, carrying out inspections and identifying defectsPromote 5S, good ..... full job details .....
