This is full time and permanent position and working for very well established company. Very interesting and varied role with a scope for progression.Hours: 08.00-16.00 M-F but with the possibility of out of hours work as the jobs dictate.Job SummaryThe Goods In Person is responsible for receiving, checking, and storing incoming deliveries to ensure that all goods are accurate, undamaged, and properly recorded. The role supports warehouse operations by maintaining efficient stock control and ensuring goods are available for production.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and unload incoming deliveries from suppliers and transport companies.Check deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.Inspect goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues.Accurately record received goods in the inventory management system.Label, store, and organise products in the correct warehouse locations.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised goods-in area.Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and logistics teams regarding deliveries.Follow health and safety procedures when handling goods and equipment.Assist with stock counts and inventory audits when required.Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks or forklifts (if trained).Skills and QualificationsPrevious ..... full job details .....
