Salary: -27,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Goods In Operative to join a specialist manufacturing business based in the Chelmsford area. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position within a well-established and quality-driven company.

Please note: Due to the location, candidates must have their own transport and a full UK driving licence.

The Role

Working as part of a busy goods-in and quality control team, you will play a key role in ensuring all incoming and manufactured products meet strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Goods In Operative

• Inspect and check all incoming goods from couriers, suppliers, and internal production
• Ensure all products meet required quality standards
• Organise, store, and retrieve stock efficiently within the warehouse
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including delivery notes

What We''re Looking For

• Full UK driving licence and own transport
• Good level of physical fitness
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication skills
• Experience within Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
• Someone looking for a long-term, permanent opportunity
