Goods In Operative

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Goods In Operative to join my clients-busy warehouse team on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who is looking for a long-term position with opportunities for development.

Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:00
12-week Temporary to Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries against delivery notes
• Unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Using handheld scanners to accurately book stock into the warehouse
• Inspecting goods for damage and reporting any discrepancies
• Moving stock to designated storage locations
• Maintaining accurate stock records
• Keeping the goods in area clean, organised and safe
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

What They''re-Looking For

• Previous experience in a Goods In or Warehouse Operative role is preferred
• Experience using handheld barcode scanners
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good level of physical fitness

Training & Development

The successful candidate should be open to training on both Counterbalance and Reach Truck forklifts if offered a permanent position. Previous forklift licences are not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
