Goods In Operative / Driver

Working on behalf of our central Birmingham client, we are recruiting for an experienced Goods In Operative/Driver to support our clients production, and warehouse operations.We are seeking an individual who has the right attitude and can demonstrate a "can do" approach to daily tasks. This role brings a lot of variety so will suit someone who can adapt accordingly and be able to maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, as well as handling goods, and also delivering and collecting products in the company van as required.Key Responsibilities:Preparing products for dispatchLoading and unloading deliveries safely and efficientlyDelivering and collecting goods from and to suppliers as requiredEnsuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on timeMaintaining cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse, including general tidyingMoving stock around the warehouse (manually or using equipment such as pallet trucks or forklifts)Assisting with stock control, stock checks, and inventory managementCompleting delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate recordsEnsuring compliance with health and safety procedures at all timesRequirements:Full, clean UK driving licencePrevious warehouse and/or delivery driving experience preferredGood organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWilling to undertake varied dutiesDesirable:Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential) This role requires experience working within ..... full job details .....
